To keep it simple, we’ve broken out our funding needs for the school year into large groups. Here, an explanation of these areas:

Teachers: The PTSA funds the wages for the PE, Music, and Art teachers, plus tutors (RTI).

Field Trips: This covers expensive buses needed for enriching field trips, up to 2 trips per class per year.

Teacher / Classroom Support: PTSA reimburses teachers for supplies, so they don’t have to go out of their pocket for our keiki.

Clubs: PTSA pays for supplies and wages for instructors for our enriching and popular after school clubs.

Nature Center: Currently in the clearing stage, these funds pay for dangerous tree mitigation and expensive machine work.

Operations: Includes liability insurance back office operation costs, and external accountant and bookkeeping for continuity and non-profit compliance.
