Kilauea School Jog-a-Thon 2026: October 2!
Put your shoes on keiki, Kilauea School is having a Jog-a Thon! Our Jog-a-Thon is a school-wide event that promotes fun and fitness while raising funds for Kilauea School PTSA's annual budget. Students will solicit pledges/donations and then run, jog, or walk their way to the finish line. Our goal is to raise $75,000 for Kilauea School PTSA. Money raised will go towards teacher wages, field trips, after school clubs, enrichment teacher positions, and classroom supplies. So get ready, get your pledges, and let's have fun making $ for our school! Students will collect donations from friends and ‘ohana by flat amount (not per lap).
The Jog-a-Thon will take place Friday, October 2, 2026. Pre-K-1st grade will run/jog/walk laps for 6 minutes, and 2nd-6th grade for 10-12 minutes, getting in as many laps as possible. Prizes will be given to the students in each grade who run the most laps.
We need each and every one of you to help us reach our goal. There will be prizes for:
the classes that raise the most $ (lower el and upper el) and individuals who raise the most $ and have the most supporters.
classes with 100% participation, no matter the amount, get a popsicle party!
a whole school prize if we reach our $75,000 fundraising goal!
Please note the "tip" when donating is 100% optional, and simply helps cover the cost of the fundraising website. Because Kīlauea School PTSA is a non-profit organization with 501(C)(3) status, your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
